About Dr. Ahmed M. El-Damaty Dr. Ahmed M. El-Damaty is a Cardiologist with more than 20 years of expertise in this field. Services provided by him includes management of cardiac patients with particular interest in all aspects of clinical electrophysiology including assessment and management of patients with cardiac rhythm disorders, assessment of patients with heart failure requiring ICDs, device therapy including pacemakers, and resynchronization therapy.  He earned his MBBS from Cairo University in 2001, a Master’s of Science in Cardiology from Cairo University in 2008, and a PhD in Cardiology from Cairo University in 2012. Until 2006, he was a resident at Kasr Alainy Hospital, where he obtained his basic cardiology training. He completed a three-year clinical/research fellowship at the Queen Elizabeth II health science centre and Dalhousie University, one of Canada’s busiest centres for patients with heart rhythm abnormalities. Dr. Ahmed M. El-Damaty is fluent in English and Arabic.
