About Dr. Sirish Nelivigi Dr. Sirish Nelivigi is a reputed Ophthalmologist with an experience of over 25+ years in the field. He has been a respected member of the Karnataka Ophthalmic Society, All India Ophthalmological Society, and Bangalore Ophthalmic Society. After qualifying as a medical practitioner (1995) form JJM Medical College (Davangere, Karnataka, India), he completed his Postgraduation in Ophthalmology (D.O.) from Kasturba Medical College, Manipal, India. He later completed his Diplomate of National Board (DNB) examinations in 2000 and subsequently went ahead to do an Advanced Fellowship in Anterior Segment (FIAS), Sankara Eye Care Institutions at Coimbatore, India. Dr. Nelivigi has gained proficiency in the field of Cataract having done more than 25,000 surgeries and glaucoma having done more than 2000 surgeries. He has been awarded the Best Free Paper Award Karnataka Ophthalmic Society, 2011, and Best outgoing student Kasturba Medical College (KMC), 1999. He has several publications as well as chapters in Ophthalmology textbooks and is a regular invited guest speaker in state and national conferences in addition to international conferences as well.
