About Prof. Charles Ng Prof. Charles Ng is an Emeritus Consultant of Obstetrics ＆ Gynaecology in Singapore. His professional training as a medical specialist in O&G has been done at KKH, SGH, and St Mary’s Hospital in London. He served in SGH after leaving NUS in 1986 to start the Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology at the invitation of MOH. Professionally doctor was elected President of O&G Society of Singapore, Chairman of O&G, Academy of Medicine, and Chairman of Singapore Representative Committee of Royal College of O&G. He is a teacher for medical students and postgraduate doctors and has been involved in research projects. The doctor h​as published many papers in medical and scientific journals and contributed chapters to medical and non-medical books since 1970.
