About Dr. Amit Ghose Dr. Amit Ghose is a renowned name in the field of urology in West Bengal, India. Dr. Ghose is a highly experienced urologist with more than 39 years of clinical experience. Dr. Amit was also associated with various institutes such as Wockhardt Hospital and Kidney Institute, Kothari Medical Center, Woodlands Hospital, and Anandalok Hospital. He completed his MBBS from Calcutta Medical College in the year 1982. Later, in 1986, he completed an MS in General Surgery from Calcutta Medical College. Dr. Amit Ghose is the founder of the Prostate Cancer Foundation and Bengal Urology Trust through which he spread awareness among the general people related to various urological diseases and prostate cancer. Dr. Amit is a trained urology surgeon and performs urological surgeries through minimally invasive surgeries. He has a keen interest in robotic surgeries, Da Vinci surgical systems, and laparoscopic surgeries. Dr. Amit has presented many papers and presentations at various national and international conferences. He is an esteemed member of the European Association of Urology, Association of Surgeons of India, British Association of Urological Surgeons, Urological Society of India, and American Urological Association.
