About Dr. Vinay Mahendra Dr. Vinay Mahindra is an experienced Urology surgeon in Kolkata. The doctor is an expert in robotic surgery and was the first clinical expert who introduced robotic surgery in Kolkata. He is also an experienced renal transplant surgeon and an expert in performing urological surgeries through minimally invasive procedures. Dr. Vinay is an expert in managing prostate cancer, bladder cancer, and testicular cancer. His area of service includes radical prostatectomy, retroperitoneal lymph node dissection, intracorporeal urinary diversion, ureteric re-implant, radical and partial cystectomy, and extended pelvic lymph node dissection. He was also associated with Gwynedd Hospitals, Glasgow Royal Infirmary, Pilgrim Hospital, and Belfast City Hospital. Dr. Vinay completed his MBBS from Lucknow University in 1989 and in 1992, he completed his MS in General Surgery from Lucknow university. In the year 1998, he was awarded M. Ch. in urology by Pondicherry University.  In 2000, Dr. Vinay was awarded Fellowship from the Royal College of Surgeons, Glasgow.
