About Dr. Eric Chong Dr. Eric Chong is a cardiologist having more than 20 years of expertise. Services provided by him includes heart failure/cardiomyopathy, atrial fibrillation and heart rhythm disorders, cardiac pacing and ICD implant, complex coronary intervention and angioplasty and critical cardiovascular disease. Dr. Chong is certified at level 2 in both electrophysiology and cardiac device therapy by the International Board of Heart Rhythm Examiners (IBHRE) and the European Heart Rhythm Association (EHRA). Additionally, he has a Diploma of Family Medicine from Singapore and a level 2 CT coronary angiography certification from the Society of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography in the USA. He belongs to the Singapore Cardiac Society, the Royal College of Physicians, the Heart Rhythm Society of America, and the European Heart Rhythm Association. He teaches clinical medicine as an adjunct assistant professor at the National University of Singapore. The Academy of Medicine of Singapore, the European Society of Cardiology, the American College of Cardiology, the ASEAN Federation of Cardiology, the Asia Pacific Society of Interventional Cardiology, and the Society of Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions USA have all elected him as a fellow. Dr. Chong has previously received advanced specialised training from prominent cardiologists at world-class cardiac facilities like Singapore National University Hospital, Taiwan Veterans General Hospital, and London St Thomas Hospital. Dr. Eric Chong is fluent in English, Malay, and Mandarin.
