About Dr. Hemlata Gupta Dr. Hemlata Gupta has +12 years of experience as an Ophthalmologist and is a highly-educated medical professional. Her professional affiliations with medical societies include the memberships of the, All India Ophthalmological Society, the Delhi Ophthalmological Society and the North Zone Ophthalmological Society and the Chandigarh Ophthalmological Society.  She has been a member of the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery (ASCRS) and the European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery (ESCRS).  Dr. Gupta did her MBBS from Punjab University, Chandigarh in 1998 and then did her MS in 2004. She has also done her DNB and a fellowship from the All India Collegium of Ophthalmologist. Her medical expertise as an ophthalmologist includes performing cataract surgeries, including femto-cataract and micro-incision cataract surgery. She also performs various refractive surgery procedures including SMILE, iLasik, CV Lasik, advanced topography and topography customised LASIK, PRK, ICL, intra-corneal ring segments and corneal cross-linking for keratoconus treatment. Her scope of work also includes, managing all difficult and complicated cataract and refractive surgeries.  During her medical practice, she has performed +5,000 refractive surgeries and has also been conducting LASIK/SMILE training courses for national and international ophthalmologists.  Dr. Gupta has more than 170 scientific presentations done at national and international conferences and over 40 publications, including text book chapters in regional, national, and international scientific journals and  PG books too.
