About Dr. Chiran Babu A Dr. Chiran Babu A is one of the finest Cardiac Surgeons in Bangalore with the experience of 16+ years in the field. He is a Life Member of the Indian Association of Cardiothoracic Surgeons and other such reputed organizations. He completed his MBBS from JJM Medical College, Davangere, and Masters in General Surgery from Mysore Medical College. He then had his cardiac surgical training from JIPMER, Pondicherry from 2001 to 2004, and cleared the Diplomat of National Board Exam, DNB (Cardiothoracic surgery) in 2004. He received the Travelling Research Fellowship from Minneapolis Heart Institue, Minneapolis, Minnesota in 2008, and then went to The Heart Institute, Ho Chi Min City, Vietnam for a specialized Training program in Mitral Valve Repairs in 2009. Dr. Chiran’s area of interest, apart from routine surgeries includes Mitral Valve Repairs, Surgery for Heart Failure, Minimally Invasive Cardiac Surgery, ASD, VSD, Left Ventricular Aneurysm Surgery, Pulmonary Thromboendarterectomy, etc.
