About Dr. Kavitha Dr. Kavitha is a well-known Endocrinologist and General Physician with 16+ years of experience in the field. She pursued her M.B.B.S in K.A.P Viswanathan Government Medical College, Tiruchirappalli in 2002 and later did her DNB (Family Medicine) from Apollo BGS Hospital, Mysore in 2010. She later got her degree of Masters in Health Sciences Diabetology from Annamalai University, Chidambaram in 2013. Additionally, she completed her post-graduate diploma in Geriatric Medicine from M.S. Ramaiah Memorial Hospital, Bangalore. Her special interest in the field of Diabetology includes Weight Management in Type 2 Diabetes, Early-onset Type 2 Diabetes, Gestational diabetes, Mellitus Beyond Diabetes, and she is also interested in the field of Executive health check-ups. Dr. Kavitha has written several publications for national and international journals. She has done a thesis about the relationship of Anthropometric measurements like BMI (Body Mass Index), WHR (waist-hip ratio), WC (waist circumference) in relation to diabetes control.
