About Dr. Jaya M Bhat Dr. Jaya M Bhat is an eminent Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with 46+ years of experience. She is adept in performing IVF and Urogynaecology, Laparoscopy, and Dysmenorrhea, etc. Her area of interest covers Fetal Medicine and Laparoscopy. She takes an interest in teaching and has served as a postgraduate teacher and DNB examiner. She took the leading role in setting up the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology in Manipal Hospital, Bangalore. She also spearheaded the team that established the Foetal medicine unit and Gynecologic Laparoscopy unit at Manipal Hospital Bangalore. She is the former President of Bangalore Society of Obstetrics and Gynaecology. She is also a member of the Karnataka Medical Council. She is the Former member representative of the RCOG south zone. She has penned chapters in books on Obstetrics and Gynaecology published by FOGSI and Jaypee brothers.
