About Dr. Phani Krishna Ravula Dr. Phani Krishna Ravula is a leading Surgical Gastroenterologist with +16 years of experience in the field of performing GI surgeries and liver transplant surgeries. He is a professional member of the Royal College of Surgeons (MRCS) and Fellow of the Association of Surgeons of India. Dr. Ravula is an MBBS and MS of Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research, Puducherry.  He then did his M.Ch from Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences, Lucknow followed by an MRCS from Royal college of surgeons, Edinburgh, UK (2003).  Between 2008-12, he earned three fellowships from UK, Japan and Korea. Dr. Ravula is an expert surgical GI and liver transplant surgeon with expertise to perform HPB/Upper GI/Laparoscopic and bariatric surgeries.  During his career, he has conducted +1,000 liver and pancreatic resections, over 10,000 laparoscopic surgeries, +2,000 advanced laparoscopic and +1,500 laparoscopic and open surgeries. Dr. Ravula has delivered lectures in India and overseas on various areas of digestive surgeries.  Besides contributions to medical journals, he has authored chapters for textbooks.
