About Dr. Smita Vaid Dr. Smita Vaid is an acclaimed Obstetrician and Gynaecologist in Jaipur who holds extensive experience of 16+ years. She has successfully performed advance laparoscopic procedures for hytectromies (removal of the uterus), myomectomies (removal of uterine fibroids), ovarian cysts, tubal recanalizations, and infertility surgeries. In Rajasthan, she’s the first to begin Waterbirthing, the pro normal birthing technique, and by this initiative, she introduced this natural and minimally painful method of childbirth.  She is a professional member of the Medical Council of India (MCI), Association of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, Indian Menopause Society, and National Association of Reproductive and Child Health of India.
