About Dr. Lee Guek Eng Dr. Lee Guek Eng is an oncologist having more than 10 years of expertise. Services provided by her includes breast cancer, breast cancer in young women, and pregnancy-associated breast cancer. After earning a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Cell and Molecular Biology from the National University of Singapore, Dr. Lee Guek Eng graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery. She finished her studies as a medical oncology specialist in 2013 and began practising medicine at the National Cancer Centre in Singapore. Dr. Lee Guek Eng is an expert in breast cancer, concentrating on research and young women with the disease. She received the international fellowship NMRC research grant in 2016 for her work on breast cancer, allowing her to train as a fellow at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute with a focus on young women with breast cancer and breast cancer linked to pregnancy. Dr. Lee Guek Eng has a keen interest in research and has participated in several studies in Singapore, including ones that examined the difficulties Asian communities and young breast cancer patientsâ face in participating in clinical trials. She helped establish a national initiative to assist raise awareness and educate young women with breast cancer. She also received a second grant from NMRC under the Industry Alignment Fund (IAF) for her investigation of a novel substance for the treatment of brain metastases in patients with advanced breast cancer. She presented her findings extensively over the past eight years and has represented Singapore in various major cancer conferences abroad. Dr. Lee Guek Eng is fluent in English, and Mandarin.
