He has been awarded Zydus Oration for scientific contribution in the field of Rheumatology by the Indian Rheumatology Association, 2008. He completed his higher training in the UK and became a member of the Royal College of Physicians. He is a fellow of American College of Rheumatology, USA. He is a member of over 15 international and national medical associations and forums, including the National Academy of Medical Sciences, British Society of Rheumatology, UK, National College of Chest Physicians, National Osteoporosis Society, UK, Indian Rheumatism Association and Indian Immunology Society. Dr. Gupta is also an International reviewer of Kelley’s Textbook of Rheumatology 7th ed, member of International Advisory Board of Kumar & Clark – Clinical Medicine, International Advisory Board of Davidson’s – Principles and Practice of Medicine 21th ed and International Advisory Board of Kumar & Clark – Clinical Medicine, 7th ed. He has completed MBBS from PMCH, Patiala, MD in medicine from Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi, DNB from National Board of Examination, New Delhi and MRCP from Royal College of Physicians, U.K. His expertise includes Rheumatoid Arthritis, Ankylosing Spondylitis, Immunology and Rheumatology.
