About Dr. Mukul Rastogi Dr. Mukul Rastogi is a renowned Hepatologist & Gastroenterologist with more than 23 years. He has been involved in the perioperative management of more than 1300 liver transplant patients as chief hepatologist. He has won the Rising Star (Hepatology) Times of India award and honored by âBharat Jyoti Awardâ âby IFSS (by Honorable Governor of Assam and Tamilnadu) in 2011. He has expertise in managing all sorts of post-liver transplant complications like Biliary stricture, Acute and Chronic rejections, recurrence of disease, vascular problems, and post-transplant Liver biopsy. His interest lies in the endoscopic management of chronic calcific pancreatitis and fatty liver disease. Dr. Mukul has performed a whole range of endoscopic procedures (including managing post-transplant biliary leaks and biliary strictures by means of ERCP). He has a professional lifetime membership with various medical associations. Dr. Rastogi has research publications in international as well as national medical journals. He is a member of the Association of Physician of India, Indian Medical Association, Indian National Association for the Study of Liver, Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy of India, Indian Society of Gastroenterology and International Liver Transplantation Society.
