About Dr. S Venkatesh Dr. S Venkatesh is a renowned Doctor in the field of  Interventional Cardiology.  He has an 18+ experience and earlier has worked in prestigious hospitals. Dr. S Venkatesh has operated 15,000 diagnostic catheterizations and more than 3500 interventional procedures in the catheterization laboratory. His expertise is Coronary angioplasties including Primary & Complex Coronary Interventions such as Left Main Coronary artery, coronary bifurcations, chronic total occlusions, Rotablator-stenting, and angioplasty to coronary bypass grafts. He has performed the First Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVI or TAVR) at Fortis Hospital Bannerghatta Road, Bangalore. He did his MBBS from Dr. B R Ambedkar Medical College, Bangalore in 1992 Dr. S Venkatesh has completed his MD in Internal Medicine from the prestigious PGIMER at Chandigarh where he was the batch topper & and also won the First Order Medal. He then went on and completed his DM in Cardiology from PGIMER, Chandigarh in 2001.
