About Dr. Amit K Dr. Amit Kumar is a Senior Consultant in the Department of Nephrology and Renal Transplantation at Sanar International Hospital Gurugram. He is an expert and well-known name in the field of nephrology and kidney transplant. He has done his MBBS and MD from prestigious PGIMS Rohtak, Haryana (constantly ranked amongst top 10 institutes in India), and later to pursue his dream of Super Specialization in Nephrology (DM Nephrology), he Joined prestigious AIIMS New Delhi. Dr. Amit has a rich professional experience of more than 10Â years in Nephrology. He was associated with leading healthcare organizations in the past. Dr, Kumar has been an integral part of more than 600 kidney transplants. These include the most challenging transplant procedures, such as ABO-incompatible, transplantations in highly sensitized recipients, and high-risk transplants associated with significant comorbidities. He is also well versed in all aspects of care of kidney patients including AKI, CKD, and procedures like hemodialysis, SLED He is also well versed in performing, Kidney biopsy, Hemodialysis catheter, permacath , and peritoneal dialysis catheter insertion as well as AV Fistula creation.
