About Dr. Mahendra Prasad Tripathy Dr. Mahendra Prasad Tripathy is one of the most known cardiologists in India, with more than 35 years of expertise. His areas of specialization include Transesophageal Echocardiogram, PCI (Percutaneous Coronary Interventions), Structural heart disease, Vascular medicine and Peripheral arterial interventions In 1982, he received his MBBS from Utkal University, Odisha, Bhubaneswar. He earned his MD in General Medicine and his DM in Cardiology from Sambalpur University, Odisha in 1986 respectively. Dr. Mahendra did his fellowship in Cardiac Pacing & Electrophysiology & Interventional Cardiology. He believes in using modernized technologies to heal patients while minimizing adverse effects. He is also a member of the Indian Medical Association, the Cardiology Society of India and the Society of Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions (FSCAI). Dr. Mahendra’s papers have been published in indexed journals.
