About Dr. Leslie Lam Dr. Leslie Lam is a cardiologist having more than 50 years of expertise. Services provided by him includes percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty. Dr. Lam graduated from University College, Dublin, Ireland, with a Bachelor of Medicine (MB), Bachelor of Surgery (BCh), and Bachelor of Obstetrics (BAO) in 1967. Dr. Lam completed his cardiac fellowship at the Cardiothoracic Institute at the Brompton Hospital in London following his medical education. After thereafter, Dr. Lam worked at the Singapore General Hospital as a Senior Registrar until 1985, when he was given the title of Consultant. Since 1997 and 1998, respectively, Dr. Lam has served as a guest consultant at the National Heart Centre and Changi General Hospital. He serves as the Governor of the Society for Cardiac Angiography & Interventions, USA, and an Honorary Consultant to the Ministry of Health in Myanmar. One of the pioneers of the non-invasive procedure Percutaneous Transluminal Coronary Angioplasty (PTCA) is Dr. Leslie Lam. Dr. Leslie Lam is fluent in Cantonese, and English.
