About
About Dr. Toh Chee Keong Dr. Toh Chee Keong is an oncologist having more than 25 years of expertise. Services provided by him includes genitourinary oncology (prostate, kidney, bladder and testicular cancers), and thoracic oncology (lung cancer). He received the Gibbs Gold Medal upon graduation from the National University of Singapore in 1995, the MRCP (UK) in 2000, and the specialty accreditation in Medical Oncology in 2004. He visited the Burnham Institute in La Jolla and Moores Cancer Centre in San Diego while in the country on business for the Health Manpower Development Programme. Dr. Toh engaged in clinical work, clinical trials, and education throughout his career. One of his early papers in the globe at a time when the molecular characteristics of this patient group were not yet recognised is his published work on the clinical characteristics of lung cancer among never-smokers, which is just one of his numerous accomplishments. One of the first doctors in Singapore to use high dose interleukin-2 immunotherapy for kidney cancer and melanoma treatment was Dr. Toh. After some time, immunotherapy evolved into checkpoint inhibitors, which are now a mainstay in the treatment of many malignancies. He has participated in and conducted numerous clinical investigations. He worked as an assistant professor for both the Duke-NUS Medical School and the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine at the National University of Singapore. Dr. Toh aims to apply his vast clinical experience to Curie Oncology in order to offer the patients excellent experiential treatment, to inspire them, and to reassure them that spring will eventually arrive. Dr. Toh Chee Keong is fluent in English, and Mandarin.
