About Dr. Sean Ng Dr. Sean Ng is an orthopedic surgeon having more than 18 years of expertise. Services provided by him includes foot and ankle surgery, management and correction of deformities of common foot and ankle conditions and percutaneous and minimally invasive surgery of the foot. In 2001, Dr. Sean Ng received his degree from the National University of Singapore. He earned his Master of Medicine in Orthopedic Surgery in 2007 in addition to his postgraduate membership in the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2006. In 2010, he subsequently earned his Fellowship in Orthopedic Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. Dr. Ng served as a board member of the Singapore General Hospital’s medical board and a consultant with the Foot and Ankle Service in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery before going into private practise. Dr. Ng finished his orthopaedic foot and ankle training through the Ministry of Health’s Human Manpower Development Program at Geneva’s largest and most prominent hospital, the Hopitaux Universitaires de Geneve (HUG). Dr. Ng not only has training in general orthopaedic surgery but also treats and conducts surgery for many lower limb, sports, and arthritic diseases. His interest in foot and ankle surgery is very strong. He is interested in percutaneous and minimally invasive foot surgery in addition to managing and correcting abnormalities caused by common foot and ankle disorders. Dr. Ng is a faculty member of the Singapore Orthopedic Association and the GRECMIP (European Group for the Study and Research of Minimally Invasive Surgery of the Foot and Ankle). Dr. Ng is heavily involved in medical education at the undergraduate and graduate levels. He works as a clinical instructor at the Duke-NUS Graduate Medical School as well as the National University of Singapore’s Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine. The Singhealth Orthopedic Residency Transitional Year Program’s Core Faculty includes Dr. Ng. Dr. Sean Ng is fluent in English, Mandarin, Hokkien, Japanese, and Teochew.
