About Dr. Sharat Damodar Dr. Sharat Damodar is a hematologist and haemato-oncologist with 20+ years of experience. His areas of expertise include Bone Marrow Transplantation, Cord Blood Transplantation, Lymphoma and Leukaemia. He has performed more than 1200 Bone Marrow Transplants with a high success rate. He won Chairman’s Award for Best Doctor in 2015. Dr. Damodar has multiple papers in peer-reviewed journals. He completed MBBS from St John’s Medical College, Bangalore, MD from St John’s Medical College, Bangalore, DM in hematology from Christian Medical College, Vellore and DNB in General Medicine from National Board of Examination, New Delhi. He has been invited by multiple institutes nationally and internationally for delivering lectures and sharing his experiences. He is a life member of Indian Society of Haematology and Blood Transfusion (ISHBT), General Secretary of Karnataka Chapter of ISHBT, member of Asia Pacific Blood and Marrow Transplantation (APBMT) group, American of Blood and Marrow Transplant (ASBMT), the Indian Stem cell transplant registry (ISCTR) and an international member of the American Society of Haematology (ASH).
