About Dr. Vinit Shah Dr. Vinit Shah is a Gastroenterologist with more than 10 years of expertise in this field. Services provided by him includes Acute Kidney Injury in Cirrhosis, Acute on Chronic Liver Failure, Endoscopic Ultrasound in Cirrhotics, Hepatology and Liver Transplantation medicine, and many more.  He earned a degree in MBBS from B. J. Medical College, DNB (Internal Medicine) from Poona hospital and Research Centre, DNB (Medical Gastroenterology) from Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, and Fellowship in Interventional Gastroenterology & Hepatology. He received his training in hepatology and liver transplantation at some of the country’s top institutions, including Sir Ganga Ram Hospital in New Delhi, Medanta, the Medicity in Gurugram, and the Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences in New Delhi. He has presented papers at renowned annual international liver disease conferences such as the American Association for the Study of the Liver (AASLD) and the European Association for the Study of the Liver (EASL), as well as winning the DST prize (Department of Science and Technology, Government of India, International Travel grant and Young Investigator award for the same). In 2014, his work on acute and chronic liver failure earned the Plenary session best paper prize at the INASL annual conference (Indian national organisation for research of the liver).  He has articles published in a number of reputable national and international journals. Dr. Vinit Shah is fluent in English, and Hindi.
