About Dr. Prashant Bachina Dr. Prashant Bachina has 19+ years of expertise as a Pediatric Gastroenterologist, hepatologist, and liver transplant physician.  Dr. Prashant specializes in the treatment of biliary atresia and other complicated liver diseases. He was a university top student who received gold medals in both undergraduate and postgraduate studies (MBBS & M.D.).  After finishing his M.D., he moved to the United Kingdom and spent eight years working in some of the country’s most famous teaching hospitals (King’s College Hospital, St. Mary’s Hospital, Alder Hay Hospital, and Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital). He worked with patients who had complex hepatic and gastro-intestinal disorders throughout this time. He has a lot of expertise in dealing with kids who have food allergies, acid issues, constipation, and IBD. He spent four years working in liver transplant units, where he oversaw over 300 liver transplant patients.  For his studies, Dr. Prashant Bachina received the “Rising Star Award” in “Pediatric Hepatology” in 2010. Dr. Prashant Bachina is fluent in English, and Hindi.
