About Dr. Ashish Vashishtha Dr Ashish Vashistha is one of the most experienced & respected Bariatric and Laparoscopic surgeon in India. With an experience of over 20 years, he is the first Laparoscopic Surgeon to be duly accredited & certified by the National Board of Examination, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare New Delhi. He has over 100 bariatric surgeries including Laparoscopic Gastric Bypass, Laparoscopic Sleeve Gastrectomy, Laparoscopic Mini Gastric Bypass and Revision surgeries to his credit. Dr Vashistha completed his MBBS & MS from the famous SMS Medical College, Jaipur. Following which he did FNBE (MAS) Fellowship in Minimal Access Surgery & Fellowship of Indian Association of Gastrointestinal Endo-Surgeons (FIAGES). He is a trained Robotic Surgeon for performing surgeries like Cholecystectomy, Sleeve Gastrectomy and Cancer surgeries.
