About Dr. Santokh Singh Dr. Santokh Singh is a highly-experienced Gastroenterologist and General Physician practicing for more than 42 years. He is an expert in the management of various gastroenterological disorders including constipation, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), hemorrhoids, anal fissures, etc. After completing his MBBS from GNDU in 1979, he pursued MD in Medicine from GNDU in 1984. In 1989, he attained the WHO fellowship in Gastroenterology and Hepatology under UIHC Iowa, USA & Baylor College of Houston, USA. He served as a part of the faculty at Govt. Medical College, Amritsar from 1987 to 2002 where he had worked as a Principal too from 2014 to 2015. He had also worked as a Nodal Officer at the ART center where provided medical services to HIV patients across Punjab. He has authored six book chapters and written over 30 publications published in national and international journals. He is a recipient of various awards including the ‘Award of Oration’, WHO Fellowship, Fellow Indian College of Physicians (FICP), etc.
