About Dr. Michael Bayme Dr. Michael Bayme is a well-distinguished General Surgeon having 32+ of experience in the Medical field. He is a one of the Trauma and Breast Surgeon. Dr. Michael Joel Bayme received the Healthcare Hero of Israel award at the first Healthcare Heroes Awards on Nov. 19 at the National Liberty Museum. The inaugural award was presented for his integrity, moral compass, and work treating trauma patients in Gaza. He served in the military as an army surgeon with the rank of Lieutenant in 2002, then as an Instructor, Military and Trauma Life Support, IDF, and after that as Captain in the year 2010. He is the author of various papers and publications. He is a proud member of the Israeli Traumatic Surgical Association Israel, Breast Disease Association Fellow, American College of Surgeons Member, American Society of Breast Surgeons, Society of Laparoscopic Surgeons, Harris County Medical Society, Massachusetts Medical Society. His current research interest is the Management of benign breast lesions, Improving trauma care, and Adopting the “Acute Care Surgery” mode.
