About Prof. Anthony D.Ho Prof. Anthony D.Ho is a Hematologist-Oncologist in Germany with a thriving experience of over 46+ years. He is a member of the Central Ethics Committee for Stem Cell Research of the National Parliament, (Bundestag), Berlin since 2002, and the Heidelberg Academy of Sciences since 2003. He received his medical education at the Universities of Innsbruck, Austria, and also Heidelberg, Germany from 1968 to 1974. He also has an MD degree and specialist training in hematology and medical oncology at the Ruprecht-Karls-University from 1975 to 1981. Later, he worked as a full professor in Internal Medicine at the University of Ottawa, Canada (1990-1992) and tenured professor at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD) (1992-1998). His areas of interest are the treatment of leukemias and lymphoma, stem cell transplant (autologous, allogenic & umbilical cord blood transplant), bleeding disorders, blood clots, anemia, etc. He has written for various national and international journals along with attending seminars on a regular basis.
