About Prof. Dr. Joachim Windolf Prof. Dr. Joachim Windolf is a renowned Orthopaedic and Joint Replacement Surgeon with 21+ years of experience. He has been the President of the DGU (German Trauma Society) and Deputy President of the DGOU (German Society for Orthopaedics and Trauma). He also has professional membership of the Academy of AOTrauma Germany, Professional Association of German Surgeons (BDC), German Working Group for Hand Therapy (AHTH), German Society for Surgery (DGCH), German Society for Hand Surgery (DGH), German Interdisciplinary Association for Intensive Care Medicine (DIVI), Association of Senior Orthopedists and Trauma Surgeons (VLOU) and many more. He did his medical studies at the University of Frankfurt am Main in 1979, and Doctorate in radiology in 1986 from the same institutions. He has expertise in General Traumatology, Polytraumamanagement, Treatment of Periprosthetic Fractures, Pelvic & Acetabular Surgery, Traumatic Spine Injuries, Complex Extremity Trauma, Muskuloskeletal Tumor Surgery, etc. Dr. Windolf has written well-researched papers for many national and international journals.
