About Dr. Youngcheol Choi Dr. Youngcheol Choi is a well-known Neurologist based in Seoul, South Korea with 36+ years in the field. He has been the President of the Korean Neuromuscular Disease Association, Chairman of the Korean Society of EMG and Electrodiagnostic Medicine, and Executive Board Member of the Asian Oceanian Myology Center. He completed his graduation from the College of Medicine, Yonsei University in 1985 and later obtained his M.S. degree from Yonsei University in 1992. To gain a comprehensive understanding of the field, he also pursued his Ph.D. from The Catholic University of Korea in 1997. He specializes in muscle disease, peripheral neuropathy, myasthenia gravis, Lou Gehrig, multiple sclerosis, facial paralysis, and more. Dr. Choi has publications in some of the pre-eminent journals nationally and internationally to his credit.
