About Dr. Son Ho-Sung Dr. Son Ho-Sung is a renowned Cardiac Surgeon in South Korea with 28+ years of experience in the field. He is a member of the Korean Society for Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery, The Korean Society for Transplantation, The Korean Coronary Artery Surgery Forum, The Korean Medical Association, and more. He is also the Council member of The Asian-Pacific Society for Artificial Organs, Reviewer of The Korean Society of Critical Care Medicine, and Editorial board member of the Korean Society for Biomaterials. He completed his M.D from the Korea University College of Medicine, Seoul, South Korea in 1992 and his M.S. from the same university in 2002. He furthermore pursued a Ph.D. from the Korea University College of Medicine, Seoul, South Korea in 2004 and Completed MBA from Hospital Management for Executives, Korea University Business School, Seoul, Korea in 2014. He specializes in adult cardiac surgeries such as coronary bypass, valve repair or replacement, aortic surgery, congenital cardiac, peripheral vascular surgery, endovascular surgery, minimally invasive cardiac surgery, and robotic surgery. With his exceptional work in the field, he has won several awards including Minister Citation for Healthcare Technique Development of Medical Treatment, The Scientific Committee Awards, Cardiac Surgeons and Revascularization Team (ICR workshop 2006), etc. He has a number of publications under his credit in reputed national and international journals.
