About Dr. Jihyun Kim Dr. Jihyun Kim is a Seoul-based Medical Gastroenterologist with 21+ years in the field. She is a member of the Korean Society of Gastrointestinal Exercise, the Korean Society for Helicobacter and Upper Gastrointestinal Research, the Korean Society of Gastrointestinal tract, the Korean Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, and many international societies as well. She has won several awards namely the APDW Excellent Poster Yeonje Award, International Fire Extinguisher Intervention Society Best Practice Award, etc. She graduated from the College of Medicine, Yonsei University College of Medicine in 2000 and received a residency internship at the same institution.  She also pursued her M.S and Ph.D. courses at The Catholic University of Korea in 2004 and 2009 respectively for specialization in Gastroenterology. Dr. Kim holds expertise in Gastric cancer, esophageal cancer, treatment endoscopy, early gastric/esophageal cancer endoscopic resection, colon cancer, gastrointestinal motility disease, etc. She takes interest in research and has several publications under her credit in well-known national and international journals.
