About Dr. Mohamed Sulaiman Dr. Mohamed Sulaiman is an American Board Certified Pediatric Cardiologist with more than 22 years of medical practice. He specializes in the Diagnosis & treatment of fetuses, children, and adults with congenital & acquired heart disease. In 1999, he joined the Pediatric Residency Program at the Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York City during which he was honored with the World Health Organization award for Excellence in Pediatric Training. In 2002, he was board-certified by the American Board of Pediatrics in General Pediatrics. He was a fellow of Pediatric Cardiology from 2002 to 2010. While being a member of the faculty at Columbia University, he was honored with the âTeacher of the Yearâ award. In 2005, he joined the Pediatric Cardiology Fellowship program at the University of Illinois. In 2008, he was appointed as a Pediatric Cardiologist and Assistant Professor at the University of Chicago Medical Center. In 2012, he joined the Pediatric Cardiac MRI Fellowship at the Harvard University Medical School. He is professionally affiliated with the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American College of Cardiology.
