About Dr. Ed Ashtar Dr. Ed Ashtar is a Medical Oncologist and is in the field of Clinical Hematology for 15+ years of experience. He has completed his fellowship in the USA in Medical Oncology and Hematology at the National Institutes of Health, Bethesda, Maryland. Later, he did a residency in Internal Medicine at University of Kentucky Medical Center, Lexington. Dr. Ashtar is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), He also received the prestigious ASCO Merit Award in 2017 as one of the top leaders in clinical research. His areas of interest lie in the treatment of solid malignancies including breast, lung, stomach, colon, and skin, Hematological diseases, benign and malignant including Leukemia, Lymphoma, Multiple myeloma, etc. To date, he has worked in Washington DC, Maryland, Pennsylvania, the USA, Greater Washington, and private hospitals in UAE.
