About Dr. Raul Barrios Dr. Raul Barrios is a renowned Orthopedic Surgeon, based in Abu Dhabi with extensive 21+ years of experience in the field of medicine. He has completed his graduation and post-graduation from the reputed Xaverian University School of Medicine, Bogota, Colombia, followed by a PhD from the University of Navarre, Spain. Later, he also did his CCT (Certificate of Completion of Training) in Trauma and Orthopedic Surgery and is a Fellow of the European Board of Orthopedics and Traumatology (FEBOT). His areas of clinical expertise lie in the management of muscle strains, Joint or back pain, Arthritis, Carpal tunnel syndrome, Injuries to tendons or ligaments, Sprains, Tendonitis, ACL tears, Limb abnormalities, Knee Surgery, Hip Surgery, etc. Dr. Raul is a Member and a Fellow of The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, UK, and has worked earlier in some of the eminent institutes such as Milton Keynes General Hospital, Northampton General Hospital, Kettering General Hospital, John Radcliffe Hospital, and Nuffield Orthopedic Center.     The Orthopedic Surgeon is an editor of the Orthopedics and Rheumatology open-access journal (OROAJ), Juniper publishers, US. Under his credit, there are both national and international publications in accredited indexed journals.
