Dr Ajikumar Kavidasan is an exceptionally experienced and skilled leading consultant in general and respiratory medicine in Milton Keynes and Croydon, who specialises in general chest medicine, pleural diseases, sleep-associated breathing disorders, including snoring and obstructive sleep apnoea, and lung infections, including the investigation and management of suspected lung cancer.
Dr Kavidasan successfully completed his MRCP in 2001, before undertaking his higher specialist training in respiratory and general medicine in Bristol. During this period of time, he worked mainly at the North Bristol Lung Centre and University Hospitals Bristol NHS Foundation Trust. He was then officially appointed as consultant chest physician at Milton Keys Hospital NHS Foundation Trust in 2008.
Dr Kavidasan, who is the current lead clinician in the department of respiratory medicine at Milton Keys Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, was awarded the Fellowship of American College of Chest Physician in 2009. He is also an elected member of the American College of Bronchology and Interventional Pulmonology and World Association of Bronchologist. Not only that, but Dr Kavidasan is also one of the training committee members for specialist registrar in respiratory and general medicine at the Oxford Deanery.
