Dr Sami Firoozi is a highly skilled cardiologist based in London. He specialises in procedures such as coronary angioplasty and TAVI (transcatheter aortic valve implantation), and is an expert in treating heart failure, arrhythmias, and coronary artery disease.
Dr Firoozi qualified from Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital Medical Schools (University of London) in 1995. He became a Member of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP) in 1998, (going on to become a Fellow (FRCP) in 2017) and carried out research into heart muscle diseases as part of a British Heart Foundation Fellowship. He underwent specialist training in cardiology at St George’s Hospital (London) 2002-2008. He is dual-accredited in both Cardiology and General Internal Medicine.
Dr Firoozi maintains active involvement in medical education, having organised and run a well-established postgraduate teaching course in London for over 10 years. He is also involved in organising cardiology and angioplasty training in the London area.
