About Dr. Ahmad Al-Shoha Dr. Ahmad Al-Shoha is an American Board Certified Endocrinologist practicing for more than 15 years. He holds vast experience in treating Thyroid disorders including thyroid dysfunction (over-or underactive thyroid), goiter, thyroid nodules, and thyroid cancer, Pituitary disorders: pituitary tumors, pituitary dysfunction, etc. Prior to joining American Hospital Dubai, he worked at one of the largest leading healthcare systems in Northeast Ohio as a vice-chair of the Endocrinology section for 11 years. He was actively involved in teaching and guiding medical students and residents at Northeast Ohio Medical University and Summa Health. After completing his medical degree from Jordan University of Science and technology in 2002, he finished his internal medicine residency followed by a fellowship in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Bone and Mineral disorders at Henry Ford Hospital. He is an active member of the American College of Physicians, American College of Endocrinology, American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists, Endocrine Society, American Diabetes Association, and American Thyroid Association.
