About Dr. Iyad Hassan Dr. Iyad Hassan is an Endocrinologist and Cancer Surgeon with 16+ years of experience. He has completed his MBBS from the Philipps University of Marburg, Germany, followed by a fellowship of the American College of Surgeons (FACS), and in 2013, a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons – Glasgow (FRCS). Dr. Hassan has performed on more than 2500+ complex cancer procedures. He has received the Johannes-von-Mikulicz-Radecki-Georg Kelling award for Laparo-endoscopic Surgery in 2005 and the Felicien-Steichen-Forderpreis award for Endoscopic Surgery in 2006. His areas of expertise lie in Colorectal resection, Liver-resection, Gastrectomy for tumors, Lap. Gallbladder removal, Laparoscopic Antireflux Surgery & hiatal hernia repair, Laparoscopic ventral & inguinal hernia repair, Plastic repair of pilonidal sinus, etc. He is a member of the Arab Medical Union in Europe, German Society of Surgery, Society of Computer and Telemetric Assisted Surgery, German Society of Visceral Surgery, German Society of Endocrine Surgery, German Society of Minimally Invasive Surgery, European Foundation for Digestive Surgery, and European Society of Endoscopic Surgery.
