About Dr. Ramon Aronius Dr. Ramon Aronius is a gynaecologist and obstetrician with over 25 years of experience in this profession. The doctor’s services include Bleeding disorders, Menopausal and post-menopausal, Contraception, etc. In 1988, Dr. Ramon Aronius graduated from the University of Amsterdam in the Netherlands with a medical degree. He then worked in the Netherlands as a medical practitioner in the departments of gynaecology, obstetrics, and general surgery. He obtained much more significant experience as a medical practitioner in Indonesia. In 1996, Dr. Aronius completed his postgraduate specialisation in Gynaecology and Obstetrics in Germany. Dr. Aronius has earned numerous qualifications in Gynaecology and Obstetrics around the world over the years. He was invited to continue on in Germany after graduating as an O&G specialist to install and initiate endoscopic gynaecology. He returned to the Netherlands in September 1997, where he worked as a consultant at the University of Leiden and the Rijnland Ziekenhuis. Before going to South Africa in 2011, he was the chairman of the department of Gynaecology and Obstetrics in Amstelland Ziekenhuis in the Netherlands for the last two and a half years. Dr. Aronius was in charge of the start-up and execution of hysteroscopic and advanced laparoscopic operations in Herdecke Hospital in Germany, Rijnland Ziekenhuis in the Netherlands, and Worcester Hospital in the United Kingdom (South Africa). Between 1999 and 2004, he was a participant in academic clinical training courses in advanced endoscopic surgical procedures, which were offered twice a year to gynaecologists at the University of Groningen (Netherlands). Dr. Ramon Aronius is fluent in English, Dutch, Afrikaans, German and French.
