About Dr. Metin Kapan Dr. Metin Kapan is a respected Istanbul-based General Surgeon with over 26+ years of experience in the field. He completed his graduation from Ankara University Faculty of Medicine and did his Specialization of General Surgery from Istanbul University, Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine. He is a member of the Turkish Surgical Association, Minimal Invasive Surgery Association, and Colorectal Surgery Association. His area of interest lies in Obesity treatment (Gastric balloon, botox, and surgical treatment), colon, rectum, stomach, and surgical treatment of diseases, Endoscopic diagnosis (gastroscopy, colonoscopy, ERCP, pEG), etc. He has more than 50 scientific publications, chapters in books and is an invited speaker in national and international meetings.
