About Dr. Kok Lai Sun Dr Kok Lai Sun is a Nephrologist practising in Penang having +15 years of experience. Her paper on Urinary Tract Infection in Renal Transplant Patients got her first award for oral presentation at the 2012 Malaysian Transplant Society Meeting.  She specialises in general nephrology, critical care nephrology, hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, interventional nephrology, and renal transplantation, with a particular interest in delaying the progression of chronic kidney disease with evidence-based medicinal and dietary interventions.  She is a member of the Nephrology Board of Malaysia. Dr. Kok Lai Sun has several publications, journals, and articles to her name.   She has completed an MBBS (2002) from the University of Malaya, Malaysia. She has obtained MRCP (2006) from the Royal College of Physicians, UK. She is a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh. She did MD (Internal Medicine) from Singapore. Dr. Kok Lai Sun is well-versed in English, Mandarin and Bahasa Melayu.
