About Dr. İlhan Akaslan Dr. İlhan Akaslan is a well-known Chest surgery specialist in Turkey. He completed Thoracic Surgery Specialization Training at Istanbul University School of Medicine in 1997, Istanbul / Turkey, and Medical Doctor Education at Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty in 1988, Istanbul / Turkey. His area of expertise is in Sympathetic Nervous System (Hyperhidrosis-Sweating Surgery), Pectus Room, Lung Surgery, and Mediastinal Surgery. The doctor is an active member of the Turkish Thoracic Surgery Association, Turkish Thoracic Society, Turkish Cardiovascular Surgery Association and Cardiothoracic Surgery Network. He has articles published in national refereed journals.
