About Assist. Prof. Charuwan Akewanlop Dr. Charuwan Akewanlop is an accomplished medical oncologist having 20+ years of experience in this field. She is highly skilled in diagnosing and treating cancer in adults using chemotherapy, hormonal therapy, biological therapy, and targeted therapy. Her area of interest is medical oncology. She was awarded The First Class Honors Graduate in Medicine (1991), outstanding performance among medical students in 1988 and 1990, Honorary Medals for Ranking First in Parasitology, Psychiatry, and Pharmacology. She has many articles and papers published in reputed Journals. She is member of various esteemed Associations which include Thai Society of Clinical Oncology, Royal College of Physicians of Thailand, Medical Council of Thailand, and American Society of Clinical Oncology. She has done certifications in American Board of Internal Medicine (1999) and Clinical Medical Sciences (1992). After completing MD in 1991, she worked as an Instructor (Medical Oncology) at Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University, Bangkok, Thailand (1999).
