About Assoc. Prof. Babek Tabandeh Assoc. Prof. Babek Tabandeh is a well-known and highly-experienced Bariatric Specialist. He is associated with Medical Park Group, Istanbul along with the Faculty of Medicine at Bahçeşehir University.  Assoc. Prof. Babek Tabandeh specializes in General Surgery, especially, Obesity Surgery, Oncologic Surgery and minimally invasive surgeries.  Assoc. Prof. Babek Tabandeh completed his medical school from Cukurova University, Adana in 1992 followed by ‘Specialty in General Surgery’ from Ege University, Istanbul in 1998.  Assoc. Prof. Babek Tabandeh has been associated with Special Calla Hospital, Medicana Hospital and Medical Park Goztepe Hospital in the past.  Assoc. Prof. Babek Tabandeh has written over 40 documents.  Assoc. Prof. Babek Tabandeh is an active member of several organizations, including the Turkish Medical Association, Liver Transplantation Society, Istanbul Surgery Association, Turkey Obesity and Metabolic Surgery Society, and American College of Surgeons.
