About Assoc. Prof. Kris Chatamara Assoc. Prof. Kris Chatamara is a very senior and a skilled General Surgeon with a vast experience of +52 years. He did his MD in 1969 from the University of London at Westminster Hospital, UK. In 1975, he earned the fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons and in 1979, he he did a fellowship in general surgery and oncology. He pursued another one at the Chulalongkorn University, Thailand. In 1982, he did his thesis in UK. Dr. Chatamara is an expert at performing various general surgery procedures such as surgeries for oncology, breast and upper GI surgery such as esophageus surgery, gastrectomy, cholecystectomy and surgeries of the liver and pancreas. He was awarded the Buckstone Prize of England for his consrtuctive and unique medical research and also the Culterâs Surgical Prize of London, England for undertaking innovative surgical research projects. Dr. Chatamara has contributed only a few research papers to leading journals.
