About Dato’ Dr. Mazlam Mohd Zawawi Dr. Mazlam Mohd Zawawi is a Gastroenterologist having an experience of 28 years. He has expertise in luminal gastroenterology and liver diseases. He held the post of Professor of Medicine, Head of the Department of Medicine and Gastroenterology Unit, National University of Malaysia (Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM)). He held the post of President of Malaysian Society of Gastroenterology and Hepatology. He is member of various Associations which include: Asian Pacific Association, Malaysian society of Gastroenterology and Hepatology.  He completed Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MB CHB BAO) from National University of Ireland (1982) and was a fellow of the Royal Postgraduate Medical School, Hammersmith Hospital, London and was awarded Doctorate of Medicine (MD) in 1993.
