About Dr. Ahmed Abdel Haq Dr. Ahmed Abdel Haq is a highly acclaimed and experienced Obstetrician and Gynecologist with an experience of +28 years. His professional affiliations with medical societies include the memberships of the, Royal College of Physicians, Ireland and the British Society of Colposcopy & Cervical Pathology, England.  Academically, Dr. Haq is Board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynaecology (JBOG), Jordan. Between 1993-98, he received training at some of the big names in healthcare in the UK and Ireland. Some hospitals where he trained are, Limerick University Hospital, Galway University Hospital, Newcastle General Hospital and St. James’s Hospital among others. During this time, he completed level 3 of laparoscopic surgery and advanced urogynaecology.   In 1999, he earned a certification as a colposcopist from the British Society of Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology (BSCCP). He also has fellowships from the USA and the UK. His clinical interests include, labor and delivery including ‘natural’ cesarean section, screening for Down’s syndrome and other chromosomal abnormalities, supervision of high-risk pregnancy including pregnant women with diabetes, obesity, high blood pressure, etc, routine antenatal care, CTG and biophysical profile. Dr. Haq also performs vaginal surgeries, procedures for cosmetic gynecology,  cervical screening and colposcopy. He also offers treatment for PCOS, insertion and removal of IUCD/contraception implants, screening and treatment of STDs, hormonal and non-hormonal contraception, medical management of endometriosis, menopausal disorders and hormonal replacement therapy and ovulation induction and follicle tracking. Dr. Haq has contributed several research articles for reputed journals and also presented papers at international conferences.
