About Dr. Ajay Rathod Dr. Ajay Rathod is a reputed and skilled Orthopedic & Joint Replacement Surgeon with a practice of +19 years. He is a professional member of many medical societies. Some of them are, the Association of Medical Consultant (AMC), the Association of Bombay Orthopaedic Surgeon (BOS), the Indian Orthopaedic Association, the Indian Society of Hip & Knee Surgeon, Indian Arthroscopy Society and the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons (AAOS).  He completed his MBBS from Bombay University in 1995 and Masters in Orthopedics from Bombay University in 1999. Dr. Rathod is an expert orthopedic surgeon, specialised to perform, primary/revision joint replacement surgeries, computer-assisted joint replacement surgeries and fracture surgeries. He also treats, back (spine) problems, nerve diseases, knee pain, neck (cervical) problems, hip fractures, knee arthritis, shoulder problems, treatment of sports-related injury, joint fractures, neuromuscular disorders, dislocations, neck and spine problems.  He is recognised for pioneering the VEGA Posterior Stabilised Knee Replacement Implant Technology in 2012.
