About Dr. Akhil K. Bhat Dr. Akhil K. Bhat is a renowned Laparoscopic Surgeon & General Surgeon with experience of more than 20 years. He has a membership with The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (RCSED), Association of Surgeons of India (ASI), Indian Medical Association (IMA), and Association of Minimal Access Surgeons of India (AMASI). With a prolific career, he has also done a Diploma in Laparoscopic Surgery – IRCAD, France, 2012. He has expertise in the treatment of Anorectal problems – Piles, Anal Fissures, Fistulas and Abscess, All types of Hernias – Open and laparoscopic mesh repair, Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy for Gall-bladder stones, and Laparoscopic Appendicectomy.
